My Festival Style

Pin It Now!
(Alot of the pieces I have had for years and some bought in last year's summer sale from Penneys/Primark and Pull and Bear.)

I was recently in Barcelona for the first time. We were at Primavera Sound festival where we were lucky enough to see The Cure, Mazzy Star, The XX amongst others. It was brilliant.  Such a well organised festival - no camping, lots of sunshine, beer, clean toilets and nobody urinating in public! That's my kind of festival. So I thought I'd do a post on what I wore. This is the first of a few posts on the festival and Barcelona as there is too much to fit into one post. I will also be doing my first "Street Style - What You Wore" post of all the very cool people of Barcelona and one on Barcelona itself.
It's hard to know what to bring to a festival - normally for us in Ireland it's wellies and layers. But knowing it was going to be very warm (and after checking with Helen and Denise who we went with) I decided to bring similar things to what I'd wear on holiday - shorts, vests, sandals,a hat and lots of suncream. I didn't get to take pictures of all the outfits I wore but I hope you get an idea from what I packed.

Track of the Day:   The Cure - Inbetween Days
The Cure were the highlight for me - they played for three hours - we all thought they'd last fourty minutes at most. They sounded brilliant and Robert Smith still had a full face of make up and backcombed hair just like the old days.

I hope you're having a great Monday so far.

  2. I really enjoyed it Sarah - got some really great tips and the panel were so open and well picked with quite different views.
I know! Sunshine! Oh, the sandals are a recent purchase from Penneys :) They have some great sandals this year (but you need the weather).
