For about a year I thought there was something wrong with my computer screen at work until a colleague said I should probably get my eyes tested. But I was only in my early 30's? I couldn't possibly need glasses? Well, it turns out I had one eye shaped like a rugby ball and the other like a soccer ball so I got glasses. Since it was my first pair I got a pretty plain pair - small with thin frames. They are too small for my eyes and I am sick of looking at the top of the frame so I want to get a new pair.
But...which colour to go for...tortoiseshell brown or plain black? Or should I go completely crazy and get a pair of these?
The problem with picking glasses is finding an opticians who will leave you alone long enough for you to try some on. I always find they end up handing me frames by Chanel, Tom Ford, Ray Ban and every overpriced designer in the shop. It's very frustrating. Funny enough though one of them did say black frames suited me best...I think I'm going to go for the black frames.
I love that glasses are cool again, don't need them yet but computer work will no doubt make me need them sometime soon!!

DeleteOoooh, nerdy glasses...love them. Really don't need new glasses but trying to persuade myself that I do just so I can buy something like the ones in your post. Especially the 1950's ones...HOW cool?!!!
